It is with great enthusiasm that the YMCA of Brisbane provides Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) to Loganholme State School. Our service offers a wide range of fun, stimulating and appropriate programs that reflect real world experiences and home settings. This helps encourage a sense of community amongst the children, facilitates leadership skill development and allows your child to practise social skills in a supported and caring environment.
YMCA Loganholme OSHC activities and plans are aligned with the YMCA Mission – to provide opportunities for children to grow in body, mind and spirit – underpinned by our values of Honesty, Caring, Respect and Responsibility. We blend this philosophy with the National Quality Framework 'My Time Our Place' and Loganholme State School's educational principles to develop appropriate, engaging and most of all FUN activities for your child whilst in our care.
YMCA Loganholme OSHC provides care for children from 6.00am to 8.20am and 2.35pm to 6.00pm Monday to Friday.
Our staff are available for all enquiries from 6.00am to 9.00 and 2.30pm to 6.00pm Monday to Friday.
YMCA Loganholme OSHC also offers onsite Vacation Care to the Loganholme community. Holiday Club operates from 6.00am to 6.00pm during the school holidays. Detailed information about Holiday Club activities and associated procedures will be distributed to families leading up to the holiday period.
Parents/Guardians are required to complete an Enrolment Form before any child is able to attend YMCA Loganholme OSHC. A meeting with the Coordinator is offered to all families upon enrolment, this is an excellent opportunity to discuss any concerns and assist in making your child's time with us enjoyable.
If you wish to enrol your child/children in our service simply use our online enrolment forms located at YMCA Loganholme OSHC. Click on 'sign-in' under the 'My Family Lounge' icon if you have an existing My Family Lounge account, alternatively click 'register' to enrol.
