At Loganholme State School, we recognize the significant role sports play in shaping well-rounded individuals. Sports help instill important values such as fairness, teamwork, discipline, respect, perseverance, inclusion, and equality.

Through sports, students learn these core values in a meaningful way, helping to build essential skills for responsible citizenship. Participation in sports enhances cognitive abilities while also promoting confidence, responsibility, focus, and active involvement.

At Loganholme State School, children have access to a variety of sporting opportunities, including:

  • Cross Country

  • Junior and Senior Athletics Days

  • Swimming and Water Awareness Programs

  • Weekly Physical Activity Lessons

  • District and Regional Trials

  • Happy feet (held three times a week, before school, for the entire school)

  • Gala Sports Days (for Years 5 and 6, where students compete with other schools in the cluster)

  • After School Sports Programs (featuring NRL, Soccer, Basketball, and AFL)

For students attending district and regional trials, permission forms must be completed as part of the standard permission details booklet.
