As many of you know, I, Colette Kleiman,  have coached Rugby League at a school or club level for 20 years, taking teams and winning at Metropolitan Cup level. It is a wonderful sport for team building and sportsmanship development and so I was very proud to see Jemikah Chow and Leteisha de la Cruz both enthusiastic and valuable players of the 12 year old girls South Coast Rugby League team. The girls played on the first weekend of the September school holidays and definitely proved why they were selected into the squad. It was impressive to see the skill and commitment they both showed and Miss Godber had a very proud teacher moment witnessing both Jemikah and Leteisha score tries.  The competition was tough as they versed girls all over Queensland for their age group. They were exemplary models of our Loganholme PRIDE values.  Congratulations to both the girls for being selected to participate at this level and I hope that the love of sport continues for the rest of your lives.
