Logan Schools’ Maths Team Challenge

The Logan Schools’ Maths Team Challenge is an opportunity for primary and high school students to compete with other schools in the region and showcase their skills in solving mathematical problems.

On Wednesday 5th September, ten of our students from Year 5 attended the Logan Schools’ Maths Team Challenge held at Kingston State School. These ten students competed in two teams of five against twenty-four others teams from twelve schools in the Logan District.

There was two events in the competition; the Teams Contest and the Relay Contest. Our Year 5 students competed very strongly however were out calculated by Year 6 students from other schools. Congratulations to our student representatives who now have experienced this Maths Team Challenge and will be ready to take on the competitors in next year’s challenge
